Hi there!
I had originally added on a USB device to my base station to enable local recording for my Arlo cameras. I have the Arlo Essential cameras (VMC2030) Originally, I had no problem accessing the video storage feed from my app for either of the two cameras.
However, I just bought a new Arlo home security system. When I added it to my Arlo app, I was asked to upgrade. I went ahead and upgraded the app. Now, I don't see alerts for these two cameras show up in my feed. When I try to click on the videos to view them from the dashboard, I'm told that this is now a premium feature. I tried clicking around, and it seems that the only way to access the local storage is to actually click into the base station device to view storage settings.
How can I re-enable my local storage so that videos show in the feed? I do have the "Direct Storage Access" functionality turned on.
Thanks,
francefong

FYI, this is a Gen 1 Essential, and you posted this in the 2nd Gen area of the forum.

You already found the only way to view them. There is no way to put them in the feed.
IMO an annoying change. It would have been better if they put them in the feed, with an option to filter them in the settings (for folks using a subscription+local storage).

Thanks for the quick response, StephenB.
It makes no sense that there's no way for me to get to them easily. Right now, if I miss an alert, there's nothing in the feed to indicate to me that any activity was caught on my two cameras. That's what bothers me with this app upgrade. Before, I could see them in my feed.
