Support re chime 2 connection

I have just installed my video doorbell wire free and connected it to my wifi and mobile |OK but cannot get the chime 2 connected. I cannot get any support - helpline just disconnects everytime I ring, chat - no agents available, can't find email, won't let me open a 'case'  - page not available. from what I have seen on the community about this this problem, it's not looking good. Anyone else found support to be absolutley useless?

Have you tried the reset procedure for the chime?

Yes, twice in different ways as has been suggested.

It may be a faulty chime - swap at the store.

It was faulty and they replaced it with another one that had a two pin 'shaver' plug - couldn't make it up. They are now sending me another one - I think....
