Solar not charging

I purchased and installed the Arlo Essential XL camera with solar panel last week. Mid summer, plenty of sun. The camera worked for 4 days with the indicated charge gradually diminishing until flat. Although a charging symbol appeared on my app during this time, the solar panel appears to had no effect at all. Can someone help?

The fact that you get a charging indication (battery with a lightning bolt) suggests a faulty solar panel. Swap at the store or use the Contact Support link at the bottom here.

Thanks for response. I have fully charged the camera from mains power and have reconnected to solar panel. I’ll observe what happens over the next few days and will return the panel if battery goes flat.
