No Cancel option to cancel my subscription

Hello,

I tried but failed to find the Cancel option in my app to cancel my subscription.  (The web portal screen shows the Subscription option grey out.)  

It's an Arlo Essential XL Spotlight Camera with Software 4.6_28545.

If you go into Change Plan is there a cancel link there?

No.  There is a list of different plans (mine is highlighted but no option to Cancel) after choosing the Manage Plan.  

 

Obviously, the removal of Cancel option is obviously a deliberated act on the part of Arlo.  (A couple of previous posts were on this already.)   I'll post a comment regarding the matter on Amazon if I'm not offered any solutions by Wednesday (7/19/2023).

Conspiracy theories don't help. Try using Settings, Support, select your camera model and talk to official support.

Odd that you aren't seeing it on my.arlo.com - I am seeing it there.  Note that "Subscription" is just a heading - you need to click on "Arlo Secure" right underneath that.

 

I use an iphone - and the iOS app doesn't let you manage the subscription there (likely due to the cut Apple takes on any in-app purchases).  But I think you should see "cancel subscription" under the payment method.

 

Note a subscription is required for

  • cloud recordings
  • activity zones
  • smart notifications

so you will lose all that when you cancel.
