I can no longer see my camera activity!

My arlo camera won’t let me no longer see my history or activity when I am paying a $4.99 subscription every month. You guys are taking peoples money and ripping them off!! Why is my camera history no longer showing when you guys take my money for the subscription…Also it’s kind of bogus and scamming behavior to tell someone they don’t have the right to use the online chat. What kind of company has little to no customer service or customer support? This is ridiculous.

    Did your subscription expire? Check your subscription status within the mobile app under Settings > Subscription. Does it show an active subscription plan?

It doesn’t say anything about subscriptions under settings in the app. They literally just took money off my card on October 3rd for my subscription how is it expired? I can’t see any of my history… Also when I first got the camera few months back they never gave me my free trial after I activated it and all. Why do you have to pay more for customer service that’s the craziest thing I’ve ever heard. No kind of customer support. I am about to throw this thing across the room so frustrating.

Why do we now have to have a recording subscription? I used to be able to take screen snap shots of record. Now, the camera icon & record icon gone. I started a chat which turned into then calling me.
Had a hard time understanding the guy (English second language?)
He told me I need a recording subscription - never heard of it.
My older, prbly the first generation cameras VMB3010r2
They are still able to select camera or record icon. So why not the Essential cameras? Is it because they figure you can afford 4 of these, that we want to be stuck with another bill. They used to have these. If I had known they were going to take that function away I would've saved my money. I would've just stayed with my first set of cameras. I could've saved money by getting a different brand.

I used to be able to see /use the camera & record Icon.
Started chat, which turned into then calling me. I was told i now need a "Recording subscription"

I guess once they get your money, they could care less. My older units work, guess these pricey cameras are no pretty much useless. I can't believe this happened. Those functions were the main selling point. That i could take screen snapshot, or record.
I never planned on having to pay for another subscription for something that was Free. I never tried any free trials - because I figured it be like every other Free trial - give them all your info & Payment info - just in case I decided to keep it, it already be set up.. No - because they figured we'd forget about it. Maybe even a couple of months if you haven't checked your account. Then go thru the hassle of stopping, usually they haggle to keep your money. So, with that I don't do them.
Thank you Arlo for creating my 4 new paper weights. Only until I get to the range, they will make good small targets. I prbly ought to see if anyone wants the rubberized covers. Without them I bet the pieces would fly.
I've had your older cameras for some time now, that's what sold me on the newer ones.

@embo69  It has been like that since 2018 for models newer then the Pro2 so nothing new and it is on the box (though small) and product page.

I ended up just cancelling it and going to get another camera. Their customer support reached out to me and gave me a phone call and still didn’t solve the issue. Arlo overall just sucks. If I had known this I would have never purchased this camera in June. It was fine until now. They are loosing a lot of business.
