We just purchased the Essential Security Bundle from Best Buy and set it up. Model # VMK2430Y-1BYNAS. I want to add my husband on the account so he can view the camera images from his phone and it isn’t working. I followed the directions on the app, he received and accepted the email I sent to him and when I started doing what the app told us by adding the devices it all went wrong. The one camera I tried to add on his account removed it from my account. I also tried to log into his app using my username and password and it didn’t work. How do I get him to see the cameras?

A lot of users suffer the same frustration, not a surprise for arlo unfortunately.
to best understand, the camera device are only imported to one account called the admin or main account.
when the main account holder grants access to a friend account the arlo server sends an invite email that needs to be opened from the friends email account on a pc so when they select the embedded link within that email it will open a web browser session to allow the friend to login using their credentials to activate the request for sharing.
this would be confirmed on the main account granted users list showing them as accepted.
once you have this they can edit the devices to be viewed and set limited admin rights.
One major hurdle is the main and friends account needs to look the same else the devices will never show.

As above, both users have to be using the same user interface (UI). The current apps support both the old UI that uses Library to view videos while the new one uses Feed. New users automatically get the new UI while folks using the old UI aren't being forced to migrate - yet. At some point, it will be forced.
To migrate, the primary account needs to choose to add either the Pro 5 or the security system although you have neither. The first step is to migrate the account to the new UI after which you can just back out of the bogus install. Note that you can go back to the old UI and custom modes don't migrate so you have to use the 3 default modes to do what you need. Take the time to go through the whole UI to see where things are and how they operate.
Once both users have the same UI the cameras will show up in your husband's login.
