I have the Arlo 4500 Base and Pro 2 4 camera package installed and working. I recently added 3 Essential Cameras to the system. They are connected and detected motion, send alerts, etc. However, I cannot get them to record and save to my library. I installed an external drive to recording to but that did not solve the issue. The cameras behave exactly like the Pro2s but don't record. Any help would be appreciated

You need a subscription for cloud recording.  Are the cameras in a subscription plan (either the trial or paid)?

I installed the initial four Pro2 cameras and the hub a while ago. I have never purchased a subscription but they are still recording and online. The 3 essential cameras were purchased separately and I didn't buy a plan for those either.

The Pro2 cameras included 7-day cloud recording.  All the newer cameras (starting with the Ultra in 2018) require a subscription for any cloud recording.  So if the trial subscription on the Essential cameras has expired, you lose the recording feature.
