GO 2. I only want to use my home wifi. Do I have to have an LTE plan for it to work??

I own a GO 2 security camera. I want to operate it off my home WIFI. Do I have to have a working SIM card for it to connect to my wifi, because it wont connect. My other GO2 has a working sim card through Verizon because I can travel with it or leave it mounted on the other side of my house where my wifi connection is weak, therefore it switches to LTE.
Just trying to figure out if I have to get a working sim card for the other one ?????

My Go 2 is connected via WiFi-only. I did not have a SIM in it when I onboarded it if that may make a difference.
You can try a reset to see if that helps. ALso make sure your WiFi SSID and password doesn't have special characters as well as uses WPA2 (AES) for the encryption.
