Has anyone had to pay Arlo for firmware updates

Arlo does not charge for firmware updates. When new firmware is available, your system will download and install it automatically overnight.

And if you talk to someone claiming to be Arlo support, and they want to charge you for firmware updates, then they are a scammer.
