Hello all. I recently purchased an Arlo essential camera and it’s awesome. But the last few days I’ve had feedback sometimes when viewing the cameras live and when playing back video. It sure what would be causing it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

How close to you to the camera when you heard this while livestreaming?

 

I don't see how you can get feedback when viewing the library, since feedback requires a real-time path from a speaker back to a microphone.  Nothing in the library is close to real-time.

I’ve been in another town and still have it come across the video. I been no where near the caMera when it happens. I have a clip but it won’t let me post it

What you can do is copy the clip to cloud storage (dropbox, google drive, etc), and post a link.

You are saying that you are hearing a sound like feedback when you are livestreaming from another town?

 

It's possible that your camera is defective (generating that sound, which happens to sound like feedback).

Yeah it’s not all the time. And doesn’t seem to matter where is am.. the camera works fine.. Infact I bought another one today and have it across the yard from the other one and it’s doing it aswell. Starting to wonder if there is something near my house that is generating noise and the cameras pick it up

Thanks, that works.

 

It sounds like static (not like feedback). 

 

Most likely something wrong with the camera.  Exchanging it with the seller is the best option.  You can also contact Arlo support, but start with the seller.

Will do thank you for the help. Both of them are doing it now. Gunna see what they will do for me.
