Essential xl - cannot find it or sync my new camera

I have gone through all steps from the blue flashing light to hearing the chime when over the code but it still cannot find it or sync my new camera. I have four other cameras & l did not have any problems syncing them.
Can anybody help or have advice to help please n

If you are using the app, then maybe try switching to a PC - browsing to my.arlo.com.

 

Also, be careful to choose "Essential Spotlight & Essential XL Spotlight" wen you "add device".  Just choosing "Essential" won't work.

I have clicked the essential XL
If l do it on the PC can l still bring up on my phone ?

Yes.  You are onboarding it to your account, so it will show up on all your devices.
