Essential outdoor camera range with a Smart Hub

We are updating our security system from the old Arlo.  We purchased the Arlo Essential with 3 cameras from Costco.  (we have been trying 3 systems, Arlo, Blink & Ring).   We are trying to get the same range that we had with the old Arlo, which was roughly 150 ft to our driveway and 253 ft to our chicken area.   We have 2.5 acres.   I also purchased a Smart Hub for the system and that didn't seem to help.   I have also gotten an EERO mesh extender to help, but this Essential system is unable to get to the chickens and is not so good at the gate.  

Any suggestions?

What model cameras do you have? Are they connected to your home network direction or are they connected to the SmartHub?
