Essential Trying to charge for first time

Trying to charge for first time with charging cord that came with cameras, but it cannot get plugged in far enough to the cameras to make connection to charge, what the heck???

Assuming there's no physical defect such as the plastic around the cable's connector being too big, sometimes it just takes a little patience and aim to get the USB connector seated properly. You could try a different cable to see if that helps at all.
