Essential Spotlight camera keeps needing factory reset

Hi
One of my 4 Essential spotlight (VMC2030) keeps asking for a factory reset and disconnecting from the app and turning off. When I do the factory reset and reconnect it, it lasts about 5 days and then does it again. It has done this 4 times so far and is getting very annoying. The most recent time it only lasted a few hours before doing it again. I have tried it at different distances from my WiFi router and there was no difference.
The battery says it is at 100% when I reconnect and the camera is just under 3 years old, so I wouldn’t expect it to be battery problem, especially as the other 3 cameras are fine.
Does anyone else have this problem or any solutions please? I’m not very happy if this camera has failed after such a short time.

Any electronics can fail at any time. It sucks when it happens to you.
One thing you didn't state as having tried was to swap the camera with another one to verify that it's the camera and not something about the location (your moving it closer to the router is a similar test but not really the same). Unfortunately, it's outside of the warranty period so your only choice is to replace it or deal with the issue as you have been.
