My current issue is with my wired doorbell cam with chime. The cam no longer provides a video of those that approach. The frame freezes providing a single photo. Research seems to indicate the problem can be corrected by restarting the doorbell cam.

I'm unable to determine how a restart is accomplished? Your input is greatly appreciated.

My second issue is the motion detection doesn't activate & start recording as soon as expected regardless of the sensitivity setting at 100%. Is that correctable and if so how?

I look forward to the communities response.

Unfortunately Arlo doesn't include a restart control for the doorbell in the app.

You can cycle power on the doorbell by turning off the breaker that feeds the transformer, and then turning it back on again.

Are you setting the threshold in the doorbell rule(s)?  Or just in the motion detection test.  The threshold in the test just applies to the test.

How far away is the person/moving object from the doorbell?

Are you saying you aren't getting any recordings?  Or just that the recording is starting later than you'd like?

Sorry for the delay is response. When a subject first approaches the doorbell cam, the cam starts to record, then. freezes after a few seconds.
