Does anyone know if they plan on enabling a connection to the hub for onsite storage?

I had the essential indoor camera gen 1 and returned them because I couldn't program them separately unless i connected them to wifi, but then I didn't have inhouse storage for any video recorded, this would be the same situation I assume?  Does anyone know if they plan on enabling a connection to the hub for onsite storage?

I have such a camera connected to my hub and it records properly there. You can still program the various modes to have appropriate rules for the camera as before but that's not a standalone function as it would be for a WiFi connected camera. Just edit whatever mode you want to use and add a rule for the camera that does what you need. Then use the schedule to automate switching between modes as required.

The following links show how to do this if using the new user interface (UI) that uses Feed to view recordings. If using the old UI that uses Library, click on the link near the top of each article to see how the old UI is configured.
