My VM2030 Essential doesn’t record? Does it require a paid subscription? Hope not! My other cameras record w/o a subscription. Thanks

Arlo stopped offering free cloud storage on new camera models back in 2018, and all the currently sold cameras require a subscription for cloud storage. That includes the VMC2030.
