Dissapointing that Arlo now requires a subscription service for cloud storage

I am very disappointed that Arlo is now requiring a subscription service for the newer cameras.  When I first purchased Arlo they advertised NO MONTHLY FEE.  Now they introduce new cameras that are very similar to the older pro line they obsoleted, and you have to purchase a very expensive subscription.  The least expensive in $156 per year and it comes with many features I don't need.  The older pro line (Pro & Pro2)  offered 7 days of cloud service at no charge and you could store on a USB stick for a very long time.  That was all I needed.  Every company now feels they need to charge a subscription to improve cash flow and the products are not inexpensive.  Very disappointed Arlo.

Nothing new here - the subscription model has been around since 2018 when the Ultra cameras were introduced.
