Hi, I’m having trouble installing new equipment. VMB3000 instructions say to link the base unit using wi fi.
when I go to WiFi everyone in neighborhood comes up, not sure which one is my base unit, and there all password protected?

I see nothing that says to connect the base to WiFi but I do see that you use the included Ethernet cable to connect it to your router. This means the base MUST be connected to the router via the cable which provides the needed network connection to the Arlo servers and allows you to claim it. You then use the dedicated WiFi from the base to connect the cameras. Note that this WiFi cannot be accessed in any other way - it's only for the cameras.

Just to add here is the VMB3000 Base station is not compatible with the arlo essential wire free cameras.
