Can’t connect to WiFi extender

Hi there.
I have a two story property. The router for WiFi is upstairs and I have a WiFi extender downstairs which I am trying to connect the camera to. Are the cameras unable to connect to WiFi extenders ?

Extenders work fine. Be sure to use the proper SSID and password (case sensitive) for the extender. Try another WiFi device on the extender to prove it's working.
