Blue led slow blinks and doesn’t stop

I have a Arlo essential spotlight camera and it hasn’t synced  yet but the slow blinking light has not turned off and has been on for several hours. It doesn’t  reset by holding the syncing button down. In fact the button doesn’t seem to do anything at all. Has anyone experienced this before?
