Battery draining quick

Hi Can any adjustment be made to settings only getting a few days use before recharge

The usual suspects are:

 

1) the total number of minutes per day recording and live viewing with >5 minutes per day being the spec. Note that if you are using Smart notifications, not all videos will be seen since the servers may delete those determined to be not what you want. You may need to disable those to get a true feel.

 

2) the camera connections to your hub or router can cause this if the signal strength/quality is poor. The cameras will struggle to maintain the connection, depleting the battery. Move a camera closer to your hub or router to see if things improve. Distance, house construction, things on/in the walls in the straight line to the cameras, other wireless devices interfering with the connection, etc. all can get in there.

@PaulHobson - just to clarify this.  Smart notifications will supress unwanted notifications, but the system won't delete the recordings.  But they aren't stored for out-of-zone motion if you use activity zones, so if you use them you should temporarily delete them, so you can get an idea of the amount of camera activity.
