Audio settings confusion

Could someone help me understand the microphone, speaker, and siren settings. Right now, both the mic and speakers are on. But what does that mean? Also, how to control the siren; I don't want it to blast when someone walks by. If the speaker and mic are on, does that mean someone can hear me through the app? Very confused as to how I should have those settings. Thanks for any help.

The mic and speaker settings just enable the camera to be able to use those. Generally, full volume is needed to be useful. As for the siren as well as the mic/speaker, testing is your best solution for your situation. Give it a try.
