Arlo essential wireless camera stopped recording video

My Arlo essential cameras stopped recording video when I canceled my subscription. When I bought the cameras we were promised 7 days of storage at no cost, no subscription required. The Subscription plan (that just increased from $14 to $20 - ridiculous ) was to have 30 days of storage. When I canceled my subscription my essential cameras will still sense movement but does not record video. When trying to enable video recording a get a message "You found a subscriber exclusive feature" , When did this start? That was not the Agreement when I bought the cameras.

Essential cameras all require a subscription for cloud storage.  No idea who promised you otherwise, but you were misinformed.

 

That is assuming you actually do have Essential models, and not the older Pro or Pro 2 cameras.
