Arlo Essential - no library recordings

Camera’s are detecting motion and sending me notifications but aren’t saving anything to the library so I can’t go back and see what the motion was.
The firmware is completely up to date too.
What do I do to fix this?

Has your 3 month trial  run out? You need  subscription for cloud recordings. 

What options will I have when my Arlo trial ends?

I’ve only had the cameras for a couple weeks, maybe I need to set the subscription up still

If you only had them for a couple of weeks they should be in your 3 month trial which usually is automatic upon set up. Also make sure they are set to record in mode- rules if they never recorded. 

What are modes and rules and how does Arlo use them?
