Arlo Essential Modes and Groupings

How can I create groupings for my Arlo essential cameras so I can arm certain cameras like I can with my other older arlo cameras connected to my base station?  I am not talking about triggering.  I want each camera in the group to record and notify, etc per settings in the grouping or mode created.  I can only find where I can add other cameras to record when when camera motion is triggered from primary camera.  An example would be Front House camera, Back House Camera, Inside Camera.  I want to create a group where I can Arm the Front and Back camera and specify specific settings for each.  I can do this with my older cameras connected to base station.

Unfortunately there is no way to do this when the cameras are connected to your home wifi.  You can connect them to a base, and then set up custom modes as you do with the older cameras.

I agree it's a gap that should be fixed.  Being able to group cameras that are on different bases (or not on bases at all) would be very useful.

Thanks StephenB. That is a big gap for me.  I wish I would have known that for these new WiFi based cameras before buying.  Does Arlo have a way to submit for application improvement considerations?

The Arlo Go one is pretty much the same as your idea (those cameras also have no base station), but so far Arlo has ignored it.  But the gap has grown with home-wifi connected cameras, so hopefully they will see the need soon.
