I have an Arlo VMB3000 Base station and a couple of Arlo VMC3030 cameras. The set up has worked well for a number of years but recently the base station wouldn't respond when I wanted to change the schedule the cameras were set to. No problem I thought and I disconnected the base station so that I could re-connect it - except it won't reconnect. I have performed a factory reset on the base station but no success, the App keeps saying no Arlo devices can be found. Help can anyone offe me a solution. It's not a connection issue as my base station is hard wired into the router via a switch and the lights on the base station show it is connected to the internet.

When you factory reset the base you must also remove all devices from your account before you can add them back. Make sure the base LEDs are green for power and Internet and off or solid amber for the Camera LED. If you don't see that, you didn't hold the reset button long enough, until the LEDs flash amber.

I purchased the 3 Arlo cameras a while ago; my cameras still stay Netgear, and so does my base station VMB3000 (Netgear Base Station). I attempted to connect the cameras the other day and was unable. I did a factory reset (all lights blinked), and after a few minutes, only the power light lit green. The camera indicator light was green for a moment but then turned amber. I was unable to get the internet light to turn on. I had the ethernet cable plugged in directly to the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated it. By the way, since Netgear split from Arlo, would this be why I cannot sync the cameras to the base station?

The split of Arlo from Netgear has nothing to do with your issue.
The lack of green on the Internet LED is the start of your problem. You may need to reboot your router and base, in that order, to get the Internet connection. It's also possible that the cable is damaged or not fully seated on each end.

HI and thanks. In essence your suggestion was the correct answer. I had to remove everything and start as if I was installing a new setup and lo and behold everything worked but it was a faff. And I don't know why it decided not to work in the first place. All is now good.
