Adding a Friend (or family)

I have seen a few threads on adding Friends. It’s not straight forward. I sent invite to my partner, he receives an email, but it ask him to create an account. Then what? I have read that they don’t need to create a new account, how does he connect? 

It’s really frustrating as I also can’t pair the Chime 2 to my wifi network despite all the back on forth on the forums. Nothing is working. I have the latest software update as well. 

PLEASE HELP - extremely frustrated. (Thank you)

He needs to create his own account in the e-mail link. Use a PC for that e-mail for the link to click on.
