I have an Essential Pan Tilt Security Camera. It's powered from an electrical outlet. When it works, it works satisfactorily.
Unfortunately, for no obvious reason, it stops working. When this happens, the face of the camera displays a pair of red LED lights. It is unresponsive to motion and will not respond to the app.
I can restore it to operation by turning the power to the outlet off, then on. The camera will then operate for several hours before returning to its dormant state.
When it was recently operating, I performed a network signal strength test; the app stated that the signal strength was excellent.
How can I stop this from happening?

Since official support is going to have you do this anyway, do the remove/reset/reinstall procedure found here:
If that doesn't help, use the app to go to Settings, Support to see what official support may offer.

I think this is a known problem (though not one I am seeing with my own PT camera). You could try the reset @jguerdat suggests, or just wait for a firmware fix.
