This is my 3rd day of owning the new tilt outdoor camera and I am already having issues with the connection. I am losing my connection whenever every couple of hours. My Wifi connection is strong with the tilt camera which I find strange because it keeps disconnecting.
My fix for this is I unplug/plug the camera and it works from there.
This is so inconvenient.
Please help to resolve this.

This could indicate distance from your router or something at the cameras location is intermittently causing a connectivity issue. As a test, If you temporarily relocate the camera near your router without any physical obstructions, does it behave the same way?

Make sure you connect to 2.4 only. The 5 GHz leads to death. Arlo has no clue yet. But that's the issue.

Haha, I joined the beta community once. They made fun of me for suggestions a giant red panic button for the security system. Kind of like the President's nuclear button. Something that sits on a night table in a plastic case. So if there is an emergency when you are sleeping you don't have to mess with the App and two factor authentication when you are having a fire or heart attack. They told me to get a life alert. Lol so I left the beta testing group. But look up Ring's panic button. It's amazing. Arlo should have that. But good luck with the pan and tilt. It's such a cool camera when on 2.4.

Don't forget that 5 GHz. has a shorter connection distance. That could well be the reason 2.4 GHz. is working better (assuming there's nothing interfering with that signal).

5 GHz doesn't generate walls as well either. However my access point is only 5 feet away. It's stupid how they do not connect to the BaseStation or SmartHub either. Let those devices handle the data feeds. I give up on this camera completely. Probably going to return it. Not ready for primetime.

I'm going to try 1 final thing. I'm going to install an outdoor access point. If it drops freezes or something after that, it's a bad internal board or something to do with programming or the Arlo's infrastructure.
