New camera, new issues:

- not streaming in 2k. Just the word 'live' appears

- white tile in place of the past image: making it difficult to see where the play button is

So, the white thing appears every time you disconnect the camera from the mains and won't disappear until you do manual recording/screenshot. @JamesC @ShayneS @BrookeN

The issue of the camera recording and streaming in HD, rather than 2k, remains.

And a couple of more things:

- flicker adjustment under Video Settings always reverts to 60 (Auto). I'm choosing 50, but every time it reverts to 60 (Auto).

- the white tile also occurs when you go to video settings. The camera will take an superexposed screenshot (if night vision is on) or a black one (if no night vision is on). This is also the case when you go to Zones. I don't know if it's just mine, but that's what's happening.

- a general observation is also that the icons for switches on/off in the app in general are circles, and but for Pan and Tilt, they're a circle with the top and bottom sliced off. For example in Audio Settings.

And upon doing one of the above, or combination, or something else indeed, the locations of Home and another position that is saved, for example to do an overview, are lost.

Well, I accidently accepted my own post as a solution. I didn't mean to.

@JamesC

I've done some further testing and the issue occurs on two cameras. The white tile thing occurs in low light conditions (video in black and white) when night vision is enabled. When going into Video settings and Zones, the screenshots in those settings are overexposed. (Not sure why  I wrote superexposed above, if there isn't even such a word; I probably meant superbright.) This then sometimes shows in the tiles/widgets, too.

As the app refreshes tiles every 7 hours or so, the camera refreshes with the current view, which is the white base, which, in turn, causes the tile to be super white, too, with no possibility to know where the 'Go live' button is.

Actually, this whole thing about the tiles automatically refreshing every 7 hours or so is a pretty bad idea overall. It makes me think someone has had access to my cameras and has enabled them, whereas previously, I knew when the cameras were last activated.

The lack of 4k streaming and recording is still an issue for some reason.
