New essentials 2K camera with solar panel. The camera is two days old (from Amazon) and it's only 20' feet from a really Strong ceiling Access point but camera connects only at the beginning but keeps dropping the connection and it just keeps spooling trying to reconnect for a long time and never connects.
I've tried to push the button in the top of the camera and only reconnected Once.
Frustrating, my cheap Wyze camera connects and STAYS connected in the same area.
Suggestions anyone?

WHat happens if you don't connect the solar panel? For a while there were a number of complaints about the panel apparently causing issues with the camera. ALso, what is the construction of the house/building where the camera is mounted, in a straight line from the router to the camera? Metal can block the signal but there's also a chance that some other wireless devices (maybe the Wyze camera?) could be interfering with the signal.

Hello still no connect. I'm about 12 feet from the access point, through drywall and wood siding (the app run wifi test says "strong wifi" which my cheap wyze webcam has no trouble connecting and staying connected. I've deleted the camera and reinstalled it as per Arlo CS and nothing. Then I deleted the camera and the app and started over again and nothing -dosent connect. I revived the solar panel as you suggested and nothing. I tried again to delete and reinstall. The app sees the camera and tells my that my battery 64%
So I'm super frustrated because I bought a second identical camera from Amazon (arriving today) because I thought that Arlo camera's were great (I've had two other 1 gen older Arlo cams that used 123 batteries) and they worked great, except that they went through batteries so fast.
I'm ready to send back both cameras if I can't get it (them) working!!
Again, thank you for taking the time to address my troubles

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the Wyze camera was removed several months ago.

Yeah, frustrating when a new device doesn't work/work right.
BTW, removing the solar panel is a longer term test to see if the battery drain stopped.
Let us know how the new camera works.
