Hi all the routines don't work on my Arlo previous post I thought it worked but checked it yesterday nothing happen at 0200 am no detection. This is so complicated all I'm wanting is the one comara to be armed with notify record and alarm and at 0000 am and at 0500 am do nothing disarm. Also if I just want to alarm the camera for like 1 hour while I go out in the daytime and change it back to my routine before I get back you could do this on the old version not now my camera now it just has live video which is working ok you can put in standby but the arm home and arm away don't work thanks Ja.

Do you just have one camera?
Can you post screenshots of your modes and automations?

Starting with the modes, you want to make sure that both "Arm Away" and "Arm Home" have rules to arm your camera, and that "Standby" has no rules at all.
Here'a a sample schedule - you will need to adjust the time in "am disarm" from sunrise to 0500 and the time in "pm arm" from sunset to 0000.
Here are sample geofencing automations you can use:
Make sure you set the "enable lists" (right below the automation names) as they are set in the examples.
If you arrive home between 0000 and 0500 then you will need to manually change the mode to "Arm Home". If you forget, the system will remain in standby until the following midnight.

Well, nothing works when the camera is off-line.
Try moving the camera indoors - ideally 6-10 feet away from your wifi. Charge the camera while you are at it. Let us know if that restores the connection.

pm arm should change the mode to Arm Home (and not activate the siren).
Can you post the list of camera rules you have in Arm Home?

Are you certain the camera is in a subscription plan?
See if you can make a manual recording while livestreaming the camera.

Something is definitely wrong. You could try Arlo's phone support (using the support center in the app).
Another path (painful, but support likely will make you do it anyway) is to remove the camera from the account, do the hardware reset, and then add it back.
You do the hardware reset by holding down sync until the LED flashes amber (~15 sec). You do need to remove/re-add the camera to the account, you can't just do the reset.

This new app is horrible. I can't get anything to stick after setting up. Routines get disabled, I can't save geofencing arrive/leave settings, and it seems that manual arming & disarming is going to be the only thing to do until Arlo fixes all of the mistakes they made with this app. That or switch to a different product altogether. I spent 2 hours on the chat line today, and then requested a call (never got one), trying to get an answer to the simple question "can each camera have a different schedule as was possible before?" Thanks to others on this forum it seems that the answer is no. If I'm not mistaken, it seems that geofencing and schedules (eg off in morning and on at night) can't co-exist. If I set up geofencing, then my schedule routines get disabled. I wish I could go back to the old app.
