3 new cameras show on cloud. Four older cameras store on local. I can delete cloud story (while on trial).

local images won’t delete. I thought they would be overwritten. On hub.

how do I program overwrite or do I have to remove as disk to delete and reload. Is this product trying to to force me into enrolling into a paid plan?

They will be eventually overwritten if you enable that setting, and you can reformat the card if you want to delete them all.

But you cannot selectively delete them manually from the app.

Hello!

Check your Arlo SmartHub settings for "Automatic Overwrite" under Storage Settings; enable it to have older local recordings deleted when space is low. Otherwise, you need to remove the USB drive/microSD card and delete files manually on a computer, or format the drive entirely via the Arlo app (erasing everything). Local storage should function without a paid plan, but managing it often requires these manual steps.
