HomeKit/Base Station and Arlo Essential XL 2nd Gen

Hey folks

I connected my Arlo Pro and my Base Station (VMB4000) to Apple HomeKit; however, I was not able to connect my Arlo Essential XL 2nd Gen. 

How can I integrate my Arlo Essential XL 2nd Gen to Apple's homekit? Is it even possible?

It's not possible now.  Arlo has said they will add base station support to the Gen 2, but not when.  Homekit would likely require base station support.
