I just purchased the camera mentioned above and want to set it up so that my wife and I can both get notified when needed. We obviously have different email addresses.

The simplest thing to do is to set up both phones to use the same Arlo account. That account can use your email address as the username - the only thing that is lost is that your wife will not be able to use email notification for the two-factor authentication. Normally the phone is trusted, and you can set up SMS notification as a backup option.
