I'm planning on purchasing (2) of the Essential 2nd Gen HD cameras and was wondering can I configure (1) of the cameras so the spotlight does not go on during motion detection? I do not want the spotlight for this one camera to go on at all.

Thank You. DavidSean

You have two options:

  1. Turn off Night Vision altogether.  Recordings after dark would be unusable unless the area is well lit
  2. Turn on Black & White Night Vision.  This is actually infrared.  Infrared LEDs will turn on when motion is detected.  Someone looking at the camera would see the LEDs as a dim red color.

I paid a subscription for recording, and it appears not working

I see the subscription on the account. Can you provide more information pertaining to what is not working, so I can look into it further?
