My camera battery died and the camera won’t charge. The usb will charge the other cameras that I have. I tried switching the USB wall adapter with no success. I did not try another mini usb due to it charging the other cameras. I tried to clean the charging port with alcohol, no such luck. Tried the factory reset the app told me to. Again, nothing. Anyone have suggestions or have the same issue? I really don’t want to buy another camera.

You could check the warranty status (it should be covered for 12 months).  You can get a warranty replacement, but you'd need to pay to ship the current camera back to Arlo (they pay for shipping the replacement).

I have found that the 2nd gen XL cameras can take a very long time to charge.  Are you seeing the charging icon show up when you connect the charger?

Also, is the charger rated for 5v 2 amps?  (There should be a label on it).

When did you purchase the camera?

Are you certain that you have a 2nd Gen Essential model?

Bought it maybe less than a year ago. Umm I’m pretty sure? I mean I don’t have the boxes or anything but that’s what it told me at set up.
