Camera goes offline when connecting solar

Having trouble with my camera going offline when connecting or disconnecting the solar panel. How do I get it back online? First time I had to delete the camera and start over on setup. Brought it in to charge and as soon as I disconnected the solar it went offline. Any help would be appreciated.

Did it come back on line after it charged?  If the battery completely discharged, it can take quite a while for it to charge back up.
