I never had a problem with the old app…

Now, with the separate arrive/leave automations and schedules, when we come home late, and our schedule is already in affect, the Arrive automation to go into Standby mode will override the schedule thats already in place. So the cameras turn off, despite there being a schedule to turn on from 9pm to 6am.
again, this was never an issue with the old app.
What settings am I missing? I feel like I have tried so many if/than enable/disable configurations. None work.
And please don't suggest I just manually turn the cameras on. Thats not the point. I wont remember and this worked seamlessly in the old app, so I know it’s possible.
calling customer service is a joke. They know nothing, which is shocking given how many people are having so many issues similar to this.
I want the schedule to always be in mode during the set times, regardless of if I leave BEFORE  9pm or if I leave after 9pm and come home during that schedule.  I don't want the Arrive Standby mode to override it.

also, since my husband set the cameras up, I can only edit the Arrive/Leave automations from his account. But I can change the schedules on my phone. Total BS.

Unfortunately you aren't missing any settings.  The new implementation only lets you switch into a fixed mode when you arrive.  The schedule won't resume until the next trigger time (when the mode is next scheduled to change).

One thing you could do is change the Arrive automation to switch the system to Arm Home instead of Standby.  Still not what you want, but the cameras would remain armed when you return.

Arlo has said they are adding back custom modes to the new interface.  Hopefully they will also address your issue when they do that.
