How do you deactivate the privacy shield?

Do you mean open or close it? To open it, the camera must be active and ready for detection/recordings, whether by a rule for motion detection or via a CVR subscription. To close it, choose a mode with no rule for the camera or edit the rule and turn off motion detection.
