Hi,

I have a subscription and suddenly I get a motion alert! Someone is breaking into my house. Now I want to retrieve the footage in order to give to the police as evidence - but I only have bits and pieces.. 10 seconds long...wtf...

I pay for a cloud service.. and have no live footage from the "breaking and entry", that lasted aprox. 30 minutes!


What kind of "no" service is that?!

 

Please let me know what went wrong here, as I a puzzled and not satisfied with your service and my subscription to your cloud service.

WHat is the length of your recordings as set in your modes and rules? If set to record until motion stops try a timed recording up to 2 minutes. The record until motion stops requires that the camera can detect motion, not your eyes.

I can't see where to set this option, ie 2 minutes recording. It seems, that 10 sec. is a default and I can not change this.

After intense search I finally found out where to extend my recordings from default 10 s to 120 seconds .. Thanks!

 

You have to be in "edit Mode" - and then under "rules" - you are able to edit the length of the video..

Press "MODE" in top menu bar

Press "ARMED" option

a menu folds out

Press "edit" under rules 

Press "recordings"

and here you are able to extend your "motion footage" up to 120 seconds. Then save!
