hey all,

I let my subscription lapse and now I can’t turn off notifications. Should I just dump it and look for other services?

should I work towards a third party software? Or just dump Arlo and invest in something else?

Are you saying that the pause feature doesn't work?

Have you tried putting the system into "Standby"?

Yea it seems to not allow me to mute motion notifications even when I remove them. Just seems like a better option to just go with an open source system without a paywall

Are you saying that you are still

  1. getting notifications and recordings when the system is in standby?
  2. getting notifications and recordings when you remove the notifications from the rules in the mode you are using?
  3. getting motion notifications when you turn off "all motion" in the smart detection settings?
  4. something else?

Yes, Arlo is now garbage since they have hidden once free features behind a paywall. Very greedy company. I will be telling everyone I can to avoid this product.
