I bought the Arlo essential indoor camera to be used as essentially a baby monitor since the Arlo baby doesn’t seem to be on the market anymore. However, I’m noticing that it does not record and it does not give me the option to record with motion or sound. how do I correct this? The Arlo baby records anytime there is emotion or sound would like for this camera to do the same.

That should be in your modes and rules. Which user interface (UI) are you using - the old one that uses Library to view videos or the new one with Feed? The current apps support both UIs so it's not an app issue.

@RachBon - also check your subscription status, as you do need an Arlo Secure subscription to get cloud recording with the Essential Indoor (like all current Arlo models).
As @jguerdat says, the camera does need to be armed, so the issue might also be that the camera doesn't have a rule set up in one or more of the modes.
