Alro essential camera shows activity snippet with no plan

I have several cameras around the house that just show a still (and app notification) if there is activity between 10pm -5am normally just a local cat wandering by. I don't have any on Arlo plans and just use the cameras as a deterrent as the spotlight will go off.

I do have one camera that has started to record the activity and I can view the video once. Which is pretty handy. It never used to do this. Just a still image of the most recent activity. Is this a setting or a potential feature that I shouldn't have access to?
