Use the Dashboard and select whatever mode you desire at the top by clicking on the icon. Does that work?

That does nothing

Do you see the 3 modes? What happens when you try to select a different mode? Have you rebooted the phone as well as reinstalled the app (which you said you had previously done)?

I used to have none selected and I want it back that way ...

If I select another mode it changes to that mode but again cannot be turned off ...yes I've done reboots on everything

Also when I click the standby to turn it off it just keeps saying it's been turned on

That is not possible.  The system is always in one of those three modes.

You can't "turn a mode off".  What you can do is select a different mode.

What do you want to accomplish?

  1. Do you want all cameras armed?
  2. Do you want all cameras disarmed?
  3. Something else?

I am having the same problem.  All of a sudden all my camera's quit recording and somehow things are in standby.  And I can't seem to get it off no matter what.

The Arlo application is extremely unstable.  I've invested $ thousands into Arlo products, and they are extremely unreliable. Don't buy!

My system keeps resetting to Standby, causing my cameras to stop recording and I no longer receive notifications of movements.

I had to buy a different system for security and no longer count on Arlo.

Their India based support team is clueless!
