I am looking to purchase two GEN2 Indoor Arlo cameras. I do not need many features and wondering if a subscription will be required for two cameras. I DO NOT need 30 days of revolving recording and good just with a few days (whatever the mininum is if there is one). I am trying to keep cost down for my 91 year mother, hence, do not want/need a subscription for 30 days.
What are my options if any with Arlo to have cameras without a subscription?
Thank you
RAcosta

Without a sub, the cameras would need to be connected to a hub with local recordings configured. You can then use the app to see the recordings but it's not the same as cloud recordings. initially you only see blank thumbnails which aren't filled in until you download the video, one by one.
Otherwise, a couple of single camera plans would be needed.
