So I'm having an issue with my camera. The first picture of a recording and the second is what it looks like when I go into settings. As you can see the recording is almost pitch black. Any help?

The biggest issue is the nearby wall reflecting light (the night vision IR) back to the camera, causing the autoexposure to darken the image. I'll wager that rotating the camera a bit to minimize or eliminate the wall from view will fix the problem.

From what I see from your images, the settings image isn't using night vision, just ambient light. I'm not sure if that's normal but I'd guess so.
