My actual model number VMC2032. I would like to know if the Arlo Essentials line will ever get the Foresight (look back) feature the other cameras have. This model is new and I can't find much info about it. Only articles I find don't mention it but will the feature ever come to the Essentials line? I have power adapters that will work for continuous power but don't want to go to the trouble if I won't see the extra features...

harpbri,

Essential series of wire-free cameras do not have the Foresight feature. However, we do have other cameras in our extensive portfolio that support Arlo Foresight, a feature which let's you capture additional few seconds prior to the motion activation, when setup in a wired configuration.

Thanks for letting me know. It isn't a deal breaker for me but I will save myself the hassle of running the wire as I won't get the extra benefits of Foresight or CVR. I can already charge the camera in place on dry days. If they can figure out why 2 person geofencing isn't working in my circumstance I'll be perfectly fine with it. If I add future cameras I may look into those models, I currently have an extensive wired setup and this Essential is filling in a gap.
