Battery life

How is the battery life on this model compared to the Ultra series? We recently purchased the Ultra series as a package set. We're having to charge them daily. We've adjusted the settings to the bare bones with no success. We're thinking of returning it and going with something else. Thank you.

Hi.. thanks for the feedback. May I suggest you approach our Tech Support for further guidance on optimizing the Ultra system for your specific needs?

Regarding Essential wire-free series of cameras, the Essential Spotlight Camera and Essential Camera both provide 6 months of battery life (based on usage of 4000 seconds per month, 30 seconds per stream, and day/night events split 2:1. Will vary with device settings, use, and environmental factors). The Essential XL Spotlight Camera provides 1 year of battery life under the same assumptions.
